What is Studs Up?

An important thing to understand about Studs Up is why we're doing what we're doing. So let's start all the way zoomed out:

Here's what we believe:

God created man. And He gave each of His human creations a specific purpose. It is our responsibility and natural desire, as humans, to discover that purpose and to pursue it to the best of our ability.

Pursuing purpose requires first understanding identity. With identity comes the ability to choose a path forward that aligns with that identity. Then comes action in the pursuit of a clear path, towards our God given purpose. What we were meant to do and who we were meant to be.

Here's how Studs Up plays into this:

Just as God is one being, made up of three parts; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We, as humans, are one person, made up of three parts; the body, the mind, and the spirit. Each of these parts require nurturing and developing, and we are negatively affected as a whole if any one of these three parts suffer.

At Studs Up, we are creating an environment for people who understand and share this outlook on life to come together and pursue their individual purposes within the fellowship and support of a strong community.

We will train physically to have a strong, reliable, and capable body. One that allows us to indefinitely protect ourselves and others.

We will have sharp minds. With an understanding of the world around us, past and present. An ability to communicate, to articulate thought. We will be skilled -  capable of creating, building, and repairing. We will be capable of doing good work.

And we will be healthy in spirit. We'll feel the joy of progressing towards a purpose we were designed to pursue, amongst others we respect and appreciate, each on their own divinely-created path.

If you agree with our outlook, and want to get involved. We'd love to have you. It does not matter how far along this journey you may be. Fill out this questionnaire and we'll see if we're a good match:

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24-25

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17
